18th Men & 11th Women National Full Contact Karate C’ship from April 3
Kyokushin Karate Do Association of Nepal is all set to organise 18th Men and 11th Women National Full Contact Karate Championship at National Sports Council (NSC) Covered Hall in Kathmandu on April 3 and 4, 2015.
Organising a press conference in Kathmandu on Friday, March 27, 2015, the association’s general secretary Ramji Prasad Bajracharya informed that altogether 145 players including 80 men and 65 women will compete in the tournament.
The winner in men’s will get Rs 30,000, second 15,000, third Rs 7,500 and fourth place will receive Rs 3,500.
Similarly, the first four winners in women’s section will get Rs 6,000, Rs 3,000, Rs 1,500 and Rs 750, respectively.
The total cost for organising the event is over Rs 1.4 million, said the association’s president Sihan Jagat Gauchan.
