Govt announces Rs. 1 million rewards to cricketers if they win ICC WCL Division 2

The government will reward Rs. 1 million to the Nepali national cricket team members if they win ICC World Cricket League (WCL) Division 2 scheduled to be held in Namibia from January 17 to 24, 2015.

Minister for Sports Purushottam Poudel on Wednesday, December 24, 2014, announced the cash reward to the players, coach and officials.

Nepal, Uganda, , Canada, host Namibia and Kenya are in the Division 2.

Minister Poudel also honoured the national team members with Rs. 100,000 each for winning the ICC WCL Division 3 held in Malaysia from October 23 to 30, 2014.
