Jumla locals shut district to mourn death of 18 people in road mishap

Locals of Jumla district on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, have shut down the district to mourn the death of 18 people following the road mishap at Raralihi of Jumla.

A bus (Na 4 Kha 4970) en-route to Nagma, Kalikot from Jumla on Monday, March 16, 2015, fell some 200 metres off the road at Kathkudeni-1, Raralihi killing 13 on the spot and five more undergoing treatment.

All the education institutions, industries, markets and transportation have shut down their service on Wednesday.

The bus owned by Karnali Yatayat had plunged off the road due to muddy road, according to the district police.
