Nepali team off to HK for 15th Asian Marathon

A three-member team has left for Hong Kong to participate in the 15th Asian Marathon scheduled for January 25, 2015.
The team led by Athletics Association’s treasure Prabhakar Pandey includes — Nepal Police Club (NPC) Bhumiraj Rai (men) and Nepal Army’s Sarita Basi (women).
This is their debut in the international marathon, said Nepal Athletics Association’s general secretary Sunil Rajbanshi.
Both the players were selected from the 8th Kathmandu Marathon as they were the winners of their respective categories.
The Association’s president Rajiv Bikram Shah and vice-president Sanjiv Tuladhar bade farewell to the team amids a function in Kathmandu.
