PM Koirala directs Ministry of Education to assure SLC examination to all students across country
Prime Minister Sushil Koirala has directed the Ministry of Education to make sure that all the students get chance to appear in the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) examinations.
The government came with such direction after the media reported that some 248 students in Kanchanpur district were unable to appear in the upcoming SLC after they could not fulfill the examination fees.
The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) issued such directive to provide opportunity to the students who are failing to pay fees to appear in the SLC on Wednesday, March 18, 2015.
In the statement, the government has directed the Ministry of Education to assure necessary arrangements to the students who are deprived to give the SLC across the country.
